The Transformation Retreat
The Transformation Retreat represents the culmination of 17 years teaching yoga and meditation and 8 years of leading retreats. Julian has created a powerful experience that explores the growing edge of modern spirituality, by integrating:
- Especially Sequenced and Themed Deep Stretch and Flow Yoga
- Instruction in 5 different meditation techniques based in the Yogic and Buddhist traditions as well as the findings of up-to-the-minute brain research
- Workshop-style exploration of the chakras as a map of the mind-body connection
- Inspired Dance as celebration and out-of-the-box practice
- Community Council

The entire experience is structured to create an opportunity for transformation, healing, integration and ecstasy. Julian weaves inspired readings from multiple poets and DJ's a soundtrack of dreamy ambient, tribal world music, heartfelt singer songwriters, and pulsing electronica.
This is more than simply a yoga retreat it is a deep journey into the possibilities of 21st century spirituality, led by a seasoned and artistic teacher and healer who takes great pride in both attention to detail and the big picture.
An excellent way to deepen your practice, get out of town, be introduced to Julian's perspective on 21st century spirituality, unwind, let go and connect with a community of like-minded friends.
The retreat is April 7 - 10, 2011.

Come away for 3 nights and 3 days to a stunningly beautiful location in Ojai! The main house is one of the five historic craftsman locations in the country. It’s a nationally recognized property and is absolutely picturesque, filled with beautiful antique wood furniture, and feels really relaxing, comfortable and luxurious. The land is gorgeous and features mango, lemon and orange trees, a big ceremonial fire circle, hiking trails, a large oval pool and a salt water jacuzzi.
The large free-standing yoga studio features huge East-facing picture windows with a breathtaking view, a beautiful mural over the fireplace, and dark wood floors.
