Core Sequencing Workshops with Julian

Core Sequencing Bodywork Seminars

Seminar One: Relieving Stress

Saturday and Sunday, Aug 19th & 20th, 2006
12 noon – 7 pm
$225 ($250 after Aug 1st)

Optional, highly recommended yoga practice with Julian 9 am Saturday at Forrest Yoga Circle, 1612 Montana Ave, Santa Monica, and 9 am Sunday at Santa Monica Yoga, 1640 Ocean Pk. Blvd.

Pre-registration required. Limited to 20 participants.

In this series of seminars, Ellen and Julian will discuss anatomy, energetics, bodywork technique and their holistic practice that integrates bodywork, yoga, and cleansing.

It is highly recommended that participants take the two 9 am yoga classes with Julian to feel the full effect of combining yoga and bodywork, and that participants cleanse for the week or month preceding each seminar.

During the first weekend, expect to systematically learn three complete bodywork protocols from Ellen and Julian that address the neck, chest, and back, and then to put it all together into a full session. Ellen and Julian’s work draws on their in-depth training with Ana Forrest, Dr. Vincent Medici, and Hugh Milne, as well as the Core Sequencing methodology they have been developing together and practicing with clients and students over the last 7 years.

Email Julian or Ellen to sign up!

Seminar Two: Shifting Structure

Saturday and Sunday, October 21 & 22, 2006
12 noon – 7 pm
$225 ($250 after October 1st)

This module will emphasize the relationship of thighs and pelvis to the spine. We will continue the discussion on assessment, pain syndromes, Rule of Four, and Anatomy, and teach hands-on protocols designed to shift structure, alleviate compression and pain, and liberate energy.

Seminar Three: The Emotional Body

Saturday and Sunday, December 16th & 17th, 2006
12 noon – 7 pm
$250 ($275 after Nov. 26th)

This module will explore the body-mind connection using the anatomy based chakra theory that is foundational to Core Sequencing. We will teach “high-charge points”, their psychological significance and the central importance of the healing relationship between practitioner and client. Protocols will build on techniques and sequences already learned and focus on bodywork as a vehicle for emotional healing and spiritual transformation.
